Resnik is a personal research and revival project focused on HAL/S — the high-level programming language developed by NASA in the 1970s for the Space Shuttle’s onboard flight software.
This project explores:
- Parsing and interpreting legacy HAL/S source code
- Transpiling HAL/S to Rust
- Running HAL/S programs on embedded targets
- Preserving NASA’s software heritage for education and reuse
